On the island of San Cristobal, part of the Galapagos Archipelago, exotic, high-quality organic coffees are grown. The Galapagos Islands are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Many coffee plants are already over 130 years old and still yield today. The beans, harvested individually by hand, are washed and fermented with the unique spring water of the island. Flesh and parchment skin are returned to the coffee plantation as natural fertilizer. Harvesting takes place from November to January. Fine, fruity aromas, nice round, balanced body. This coffee is a rarity due to its origin and the very small harvest.
