Vee's Espresso Roma "Extra Fancy" is a balanced mild espresso with emphatically sweet flavours. This exquisite blend mainly uses Arabica Yellow Bourbon coffee beans, cultivated in the Cerrado region west of Sao Paulo. The coffee cherries are not bright red but mirabelle yellow. The smaller but hard beans ripen slowly, accumulate a lot of sugar and moisture and are suitable for gentle but intensive espresso roasting, which reduces the acid content to almost zero and produces practically no bitter substances. But we were not satisfied with that alone. Vee's Espresso Roma "Extra Fancy" is a velvety soft and mild grade cru espresso, which we have additionally refined with sweet and low acid Grand Cru coffees from Africa. A full-bodied espresso with lush, silky crema, great fullness and intense sweet aromas reminiscent of vanilla, caramel and roasted nuts.
