In Tanzania, coffee is mainly produced by small farmers organised in cooperatives. The most important association is the `Kilimandjaro Native Cooperative Union` (KNCU), which produces one of the highest quality African coffees on the southern slopes of Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain (6000 m). Our Tanzania comes from the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro and grows at altitudes of around 1500 m under ideal climatic conditions. Our "Kilimanjaro" is a tall, large-pebbled top coffee that harmoniously combines soft, full-bodied fullness and fine aromas with hints of apricots, peaches, cherries and caramel - a coffee that is highly appreciated by connoisseurs.
