Water splashes out at the top of the brew group

Posted by: kmfrank September 14, 2023 01:36 pm

Hi all,

from my Barista F73 /1-101 comes neither rinse water nor coffee, it all runs into the drip tray.
At the brew group I have replaced all seals and the small hose, cleaned the brewing sieve. and the drainage valve is also replaced. All without success.

When I look into the machine from the drip tray, diagonally upwards on the brew group, I can see that there is hot water spraying under pressure.

Where is the fault? What is defective?

When I blow into the water supply hose to the coffee strainer, air comes out of the hole (red circle). Is this correct? Can the water come from here? What is defective there?

Dear greetings
Michael

Did you install the rubber at the top of the brew group between the two halves that closes that hole when the brew group is in the brew position?

Guetn morning,

Thanks for the message.

Yes, the rubber sits correctly, I have explicitly paid attention. But did not know what the rubber is wub.gif

Hello together,

my measures: Changed all the sealing rings of the brew group, including the small hose. The Cremaveniti gefrüft and made clean. The drainage valve replaced, dan hose to the outlet replaced.
Now I have ordered the inlet angle new, although I do not believe that it is because.

I am at a loss, what should I still examine, check? Who can give me another tip?

Dear greetings
Michael

Where exactly does the water leak out? At the top or rather at the bottom?
Piston seal also replaced? Lip seal ring installed the right way round?

Hi Schlawi,

the water comes out the top.
The piston seal is also replaced and also installed the right way around.

The rubber at the top can not be installed incorrectly as far as I remember. Unless the upper piston is not pushed up far enough to close the hole.
Do you know someone who has the same brewing unit to test whether it is then gone?

Unfortunately, no one in my circle of acquaintances has such a machine.
But it's a good idea. There are many machines that have this brew group installed, but which machines are they?

Here is an overview that I have made. Possibly there are more models.

Hello together,

have just mounted the new inlet angle and ...... the Maschinem works again smile.gif smile.gif Everything could be so simple rolleyes.gif

I did not believe in a defect of the inlet angle, especially since I can see no defect.

THANK YOU for your support Thumbs up
