What do you guys think of Bellarom (Lidl) coffee beans?

Hi all,

I saw some types of coffee beans on sale at Lidl, my curiosity - based on the description on the package - goes out to the Bellarom Espresso Cremoso (now €8.99/1.2Kg). But experiences with the other variants are also good.

I personally only have experience with (1 pack) Segafredo Intermezzo beans yet, as I just fixed a Schaerer Siena 2 last week. smile.gif

Zoef

The coffee is okay, but not my taste.

I prefer Käfer coffee (espresso).

My absolute favorite coffee comes from Luxembourg. Sati Espresso Intenso.

Sati Espresso Intenso, according to their own website, is French.... ohmy.gif
Probably a nice coffee, but not readily available in the Netherlands - where I live.

I bought the Bellarom Espresso Cremoso from Lidl. (on XXL offer €8.99/1.2Kg at Lidl Netherlands)

I chose this variety because of the lowest acidity according to the packaging and the indication that it was very suitable for fully automatic coffee machines.

The coffee does not disappoint, it is a bit similar to the Segafredo Intermezzo in terms of general flavor profile, but that coffee has a specific aroma that this coffee does not have. Nice, but nothing stands out. You can taste that it is slightly more roasted than the Segafredo.

The Lidl espresso is ok - especially for the price, but there are better ones.
I'd say it's good for the office, but only at home if you like the taste.
