Jura Impressa E10 Drainage Valve Micro Switch

Can't find the answer in the Web and apparently no one had answer it before even in video about complete tear down.
This Jura E10 micro switch had me scratching my head. The micro switch is mounted at the solenoid actuator for the drainage valve for this machine. The switch is facing the compartment wall and I was wondering what it does and how it would work? Very puzzling.
Any Jura expert please advise. Thanks.
