Hi all,
I have an old but loyal Rowenta ES6930 which I have already repaired twice: cleaned the coffee grinder and changed the piston.
Two months after having changed the piston the machine stopped brewing: clear water goes straight to the drip tray and the ground coffee comes out of the coffee grounds collectors completely dry.
So I wanted to fully open the machine, run a cycle, and try to figure out where the leak is. However I cannot remove the front cover and I was hoping you guys can shed some light.
Here you can see some photos of the machine:

I found this thread
https://www.bean2cup.org/forums/showtopic/50082/0/rowenta-es-6910-how-to-disassemble.html
where a guy has a similar problem with a Rowenta ES6910.
Someone suggests the removal procedure is similar to the Krups EA series but the Krups has 2 screws at the bottom that the Rowenta does not have. The bottom plastic parts of both machines are very similar and the Rowenta even has the holes where the screws are supposed to be, but they aren't there.
I also found this other video where the guy explains that to open a Krups EA8250 one should use a long screwdriver to release 2 clips that are on each side, but I also failed to do this, I could not see or feel the clips.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks.
