Primadonna 6700 Ex2 side on switch

no longer goes on

Since today, nothing has been moving on my 6700 Ex2. The ON button on the side does not switch the machine on, nor does pulling the mains plug and reconnecting it. Does anyone know where I can start looking? Power switch? side ON button?

one can only assume that there is a fault in the electronics.
