After several weeks of advance notice, Italian manufacturer Victoria Arduino today presented its latest coffee machine to the public in a video. In the almost nine minute video, Marco Feliziani, Vice President of the Simonelli Group and Lauro Fioretti, Product Manager at Victoria Arduino, explain the advantages of the new 37 kg sieve.
As a buyer group, a wide range of customers is targeted, from ambitious coffee drinkers to restaurant operators. In contrast to the Eagle One introduced last year, the Eagle One Prima is a single-group screen and requires relatively little space with its 41 cm width. The water supply comes from an integrated tank. The overall design language is very clear and reduced. Besides the levers for hot water and steam dispensing, there are only the buttons for the espresso dispenser and a display for the number of coffee dispensers. This is only visible when the machine is in active use, thus rounding off the successful retro design. The machine offers comprehensive setting options when it is coupled with a smartphone. Then things like pre-brewing time and temperatures can also be adjusted. In the app, the settings for different types of coffee, for example, can be saved and shared via a portal. It is also conceivable here that roasting companies can make the correct presettings for their coffee types available immediately in order to obtain a perfect coffee.
The machine is available in stainless steel, black, white, light blue, red and green from this month. At what price is currently not yet fixed. But it should be clear to everyone that the designer piece will not be available at a very cheap price. A first test will show whether the espresso machine with its improved insulation uses less electricity and how it performs in everyday life.
