The Cooperative Coopedota was founded in 1960 and is managed by Roberto Mata Naranjo. At the foot of the Tarrazú Mountains lies one of the most famous cultivation areas in the world. The rich volcanic soil, the cultivation altitude of 1200 to 2000 meters, as well as the perfect mixture of sunlight, temperature and precipitation are the most important components to make an exceptional coffee flourish.
