The Muthaiga Club in Nairobi was the social centre of colonial East Africa. Lord Delamere, Tania Blixen and Denys Finch Hatton were guests of this legendary establishment that still exists today. Kenya produces some of the world's most expensive coffees on well-kept plantations - mostly washed varieties with fine acidity and a hint of green apple. We have made it the basis of our African espresso and supplemented it with an Ethiopian sidamo and Arabicas from Tanzania.
