This Rainforest Alliance coffee comes from the Hacienda Santa Anita in Costa Rica. The special blue-green glow of the unroasted coffee bean makes it known as a 'blue Arabica'. Taste Complex flavours of chocolate, vanilla and exotic fruit, with a delicious vinous mouthfeel. After picking, the coffee bean is first fermented for 16 hours in the berry, which gives rise to sweet, winy flavours. Origin The farm Santa Anita is a higher plantation in the Naranjo region in Costa Rica. Due to its unique microclimate at an altitude of 1,200 metres, the family business produces a coffee with a pure taste. On this plantation the coffee is picked by hand and then washed completely.
