The best Ethiopian coffees come from the growing areas Harar, Yirgacheffe and Sidamo. The wild growing jungle coffees mostly from the Kaffa area. Ethiopian coffee bushes produce small, roundish and slightly pointed beans. The growth process of this variety is slower than in most other coffee regions due to its high altitude. The respective name marks the region from which these mostly great coffees come with their own unmistakable smell and taste. Ethiopian coffees are very fruity and full of lovely floral notes. Often one has a sweet aroma reminiscent of jasmine tea in combination with a full-bodied, spicy body. In any case, they are undoubtedly among the best that the world market has to offer.
