The wild coffee in the jungle area of the Bench Maji region in western Ethiopia (Kaffa), grows under huge shade trees. The farm was acquired in 1999 by a Norwegian Ethiopian Agricultural Development AS (Norwegian Ethiopian Agricultural Development AS) and newly cultivated, primarily with the Gesha variety. This wildly grown coffee is produced as washed and "natural" quality, in only small quantities of 150 bags each, and is a very fine, exquisite coffee quality. Purely organically produced and fairly traded. The unique tangy, earthy and balanced aroma is highlighted thanks to the traditional roasting process. Due to the particularly gentle and light roasting, the soricy acidity stands out wonderfully and conveys a rounded taste experience.
