Die Rösterei St Helena der Napoleon Kaffee

Manufacturer product description

After 3 years of abstinence and desperate attempts, we are one of the very few roasters in Germany to offer this top coffee! St. Helena is a small island in the Atlantic Ocean, about 2000 km west of Namibia or Angola. St. Helena is known as the exile of Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte, who even raved about the quality of coffee in many pages of his diary. In one of the most remote places in the world, one of the rarest and most expensive coffees is planted - the St. Helena Green Tipped Bourbon. The Green Tipped Bourbon has a perfect aroma of chocolate, hazelnut and almond, as well as a balanced sweet-acid ratio with an intense taste of fruit (apple/plum), to which is added an unusual and St. Helena's very own' note of slightly spicy spices. As if that weren't enough, it offers a pronounced body and long lasting aftertaste. It is a coffee that you should definitely drink black to enjoy in all its facets. Because of poverty, everything on St. Helena is done by hand, cultivation, harvest and quality control. In fact, however, on an island with a population of around 5,000, it is not exactly easy to find the right workforce. However, due to the small production volume, it is still possible to install correspondingly high quality controls and to give the coffee the attention it deserves. Since the overall situation is very unreliable and the exportable earnings are additionally reduced by own consumption, the only London-based exporter unfortunately only rarely has this great coffee on offer. The purchase prices are unfortunately almost outrageous with this `allocation` and our dealer was silent:` sorry..... if you don´t want, there are many other clients just waiting my call`
