This coffee is grown on the Indonesian island of Sumatra in the'Gayo' highlands. It is situated at an altitude of 900 to 2400 meters. On steep mountain slopes of volcanic origin, coffee is planted on small plantations of barely one hectare under shade trees and harvested by hand. Its aroma is strongly spicy. It has a slight, subtle acidity. With the addition of milk or cream, the long-lasting taste comes out even better.
