The communities of La Paz, Comayagua and Intibucá are located in the Marcala region in southwestern Honduras. Coffee from this region is the first choice. It is cultivated at an altitude of 1200-1700 m mainly on small farms on an average area of 2-3 hectares. The green coffee yields are approx. 250 g/sqm. Protected by shady trees, the coffees slowly grow to perfection. Complex, velvety, floral aromas, lively acidity, hints of orange and peach.
