Description of the roastery
HACO KAFFEE-RÖSTEREI was founded in 1955 by Gerhard Hacker in Singen am Hohentwiel. Gerhard Hacker learned the art and secrets of coffee roasting in his youth from his uncle in Marienbad (Czech Republic). Together with his wife Helga Hacker, he opened a retail shop in Singen in 1959. In 1963, the company moved to new premises at Scheffelstrasse 25 in Singen, where the retail shop and its own coffee manufactory are still located today. In 1989 Andrea Hacker-Kirner, business economist, joined her parents' company after a one-year stay in the USA. In 1997 Mrs. Hacker-Kirner took over the retail business, in 2006 the KAFFEE-RÖSTEREI. The HACO coffee roasting house is committed to enjoyment and asserts itself with individual quality. Over the years, HACO has expanded its range with fine spirits, a large assortment of pipes, a walk-in cigar climate room, a press and a Toto Lotto collection point.
