Henry`s Coffee World Guatemala Antiqua Type Pampojila

Manufacturer product description

Full body (strong and mild body at the same time), rich and lively aroma and a fine unobtrusive acidity. (caffeine content: 1.32%) Since the middle of the last century, the Oscar Diaz Echeverria family has been planting and exporting the finest and noblest coffees in Guatemala. We have maintained friendly contact with our family for years. Guatemala Antigua Type Plantation Pampojila is a wonderful, tall coffee. The Pampojila plantation is located in one of the most beautiful areas of Guatemala, near Lake Atitlán, surrounded by 3 volcanoes. The plantation covers about 300 hectares, on which coffee is grown. The coffee valleys are between 1500 and 1700 m high, ideal for the best coffee. It grows well shaded by a special tree, the chalúm tree (Inga Xalapensis). This leguminous tree can convert nitro compounds into amino acids that coffee plants need for their growth. The Guatemalan coffee bean is large, shiny and looks bluish. The coffee that is grown in low positions is light, with a fragrant cup. The coffee from the high cultivation positions on the other hand convinces with its full body and pleasant acidity in the cup. We only use SHB beans (Strictly Hard Bean) from an altitude of 1500 - 1700m. Aroma: rich, caramel-like Acidity: fine, fresh; Body: mildly balanced
