Strongly spicy in taste with a fruity body and an almond-like aftertaste. A very full-bodied, elegant coffee speciality. The Costa Rica Dota Tarrazu grows on steep slopes of Costa Rica. It is one of the best coffees in the world, the fine acidity and the exquisite taste are captivating. The special permeable volcanic soils are rich in nutrients and therefore ideally suited for the growth of high-quality coffee plants. All the coffee is picked by hand, which involves a great deal of effort, but produces a particularly high quality. The pure hand picking guarantees that only the ripe red coffee cherries are used for further processing. The Costa Rica Dota Tarrazu is a washed highland Arabica speciality, which is cultivated at an altitude of 1200 to 1400 m above sea level. The coffee beans have a green colour and are of medium size.
