An absolute rarity. This top coffee from Hawaii is spicy and harmonious in one. It has a rather strong body, a full aroma, slightly nutty flavours and appears very balanced. A small amount of fine acidity rounds off the appearance of this aromatic coffee. Coffee cultivation in Hawaii is limited to an area of only 30 km in length. In the western district of Kona, this coffee rarity thrives on the slopes of the Mauna Loa volcano at altitudes of 250 to 750 metres. The fertile volcanic soil offers the best conditions for coffee cultivation. Captain Cook's bean, Kona, is shinier than other coffee beans and of medium size. The coffee is prepared wet and dried in the sun. "Extra Fancy" means the highest quality level of Hawaiian coffee. A very special and unusual speciality.
