This Malangsari Robusta has a strong body but is exceptionally soft for a Robusta. The medium degree of roasting gives Robusta Malangsari its typical earthy, slightly sweet aroma. The excellent crema of the corresponding preparation method is also characteristic. Robusta Malangsari is cultivated on the island of Sumatra at altitudes of 900 m to 1,100 m above sea level. He is considered one of the best Robustas and is treated as such. As with most top-quality coffees, the coffee is therefore processed wet before it is sorted by bean size and marketed as'large bean' or'medium large bean'.
