Hensler Kolumbien: Columbia Supremo Grade 1, 500 g

Hensler Kolumbien: Columbia Supremo Grade 1

Manufacturer product description

The Columbia Supremo has a full aroma and a medium-bodied body. It is velvety, soft in taste and looks very harmonious. A small touch of fine acidity rounds off the taste. After Brazil, Colombia is the world's second largest producer of Arabica coffees and exports almost exclusively washed Arabicas. Colombia's main cultivation areas are in the Central and Eastern Cordillera. Colombian coffee thrives here at an altitude of 800 to 1900 m above sea level. An organisation, the FNCC (Federeratión National de Cafeteros de Columbia), in collaboration with the government, monitors compliance with quality standards, but also exports a large part of the crops itself. Coffee is divided into "Supremo", "Exceslo" and "UGQ" ("Unusual Good Quality"). The first two in particular are available in Europe. The Supremo differs from the Excelso, especially in its slightly larger beans. The taste is slightly less acidic.
