A strong speciality with great aroma. The fine acids round off the taste. The Zambia AA tastes very aromatic. Coffee cultivation imported from Kenya and Tanzania did not reach Zambia until the beginning of the 20th century. Zambia continues to play only a very minor role in the world coffee market. The coffee is grown along the Mount Muchinga mountain range, in the south-eastern area of Zambia, in the north near Kasama, in the provinces of Nakonde and Isoka and in the south not far from the capital Lusaka. All growing regions are very low at 180 to 670 m above sea level. The beans of this coffee correspond to the "AA" sieving, they are medium in size and oval.
