The Lampone bridges the gap between the acid-poor, rather one-dimensional Italian-style bar-espressi and the "acid bombs" of the newer 3rd wave movement. Depending on the method of preparation and the temperature, the fruitiness is well balanced and can move in the direction of forest berries or apricots without allowing the espresso to acidify. As the preparation temperature rises, the impression of fruit disappears in favour of a light, almost never bitter Italo espresso. The round overall impression is also enhanced by the Robusta content of 20 %, which ensures that the fruitiness does not take on any unpleasant features. 250g whole beans
