The myth behind this coffee is that it can only be grown on a very limited area. Jamaica is criss-crossed to the northeast by a mountain range that reaches heights of up to 2300 m to the coastal zone in the "Blue Mountains" facing the Caribbean region. Only in the southern slope area of this region the best coffees of the island are cultivated. The preparation of these coffees is exemplary. Production is very limited, making Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee one of the most expensive coffees in the world. This cultivation region in Jamaica offers the best conditions for coffee in terms of climate, geographical location and soil conditions, resulting in a round and full taste in the cup. The aroma is intense and strong and only really unfolds when drinking. Original Jamaika Blue Mountain green coffee is traditionally delivered in wooden barrels.
