Maragogype is a so-called variety of the group Coffea Arabica, created by spontaneous mutation, i.e. a sudden change in the genetic make-up. Very broad and with large beans, the bean is about a third larger than conventional coffee beans. Therefore this coffee is also called elephant bean or giant bean. Our Maragogype comes from one of the best plantations in Mexico. This coffee does not taste bitter, it has a fine acidity, tastes slightly fruity and is characterized by a very pleasant mildness.
