Rare Micro-Lot coffee of which only 1260kg were auctioned in 15kg vacuum blocks. We were able to import just under half of the coffee via Trabocca/Amsterdam. This coffee has aromas of cocoa and caramel, comparable to cane sugar and nuances of baked fruits. ideal preparation: hand filter, coffee machine, French Press(Bodum) Brewing temperature: 88-92° C About "Cup of Excellence,, Cup of Excellence is a coffee tasting competition. Yes̈ every year the best coffees are prepared by the most important coffee-producing Ländern. First, a national selection of the best coffees is made. Afterwards, international and national jurors taste the "best" of the best coffees. Many coffee farms are small fincas, comparable to a small winery. With a lot of manual work and experience, these best coffees flourish. The COE uses a designated points system, which includes various assessments of the coffee. At least 85 out of 100 points are required to become an award winner. This is the highest international recognition for a coffee and its farm. The efforts of the coffee farmers are rewarded by high proceeds at the subsequent auction. Only fair........
