Manufacturer product description

Indian coffee is interesting for frahling lovers for several reasons, but above all because of its special preparation process, which is called `Monsooned`. In the past, when coffee was transported by sailing ship, the journey to Europe took several months. During this time, the green coffee beans were exposed to high humidity and rain, which changed their taste and colour and made the beans almost white. After the travel times through the modern steamboats This effect did not occur and was missed by European coffee drinkers. To regain the original taste, the so-called `Monsooning` was developed. This means that the coffee is exposed to the Monsoon winds and rain again after harvesting, as it used to be. The beans swell and regain their white colour. The Indian Monsooned Malabar we use is medium-bodied, but very soft and balanced in taste, with a chocolaty flavour and very little acidity.
